Axure Cloud for Business?

Our team uses Axure 9 Team Edition and have been grandfathered into the subdomain feature. Documentation or the value proposition behind the new Axure Cloud is confusing. We’ve got a few questions:

What does branded subdomain mean? (custom.axure.com or custom.mydomain.com)
When can we expect to have our grandfathered subdomain canceled?
How much does this feature cost?
Do we need it if we are exclusively using Axure 9 Team?
Anything else we are not thinking about?

Hi @w00t,

What does branded subdomain mean? (custom.axure.com or custom.mydomain.com)

When signing up for Axure Cloud for Business, you’ll be able to create a custom subdomain in the following format:

customdomain.axure.cloud

When can we expect to have our grandfathered subdomain canceled?

The ability to have a domain mapped to a prototype page is a feature that was deprecated in Axure Share. Since this feature isn’t in the new Axure Cloud, these grandfathered subdomains will be removed when we sunset Axure Share. Unfortunately, I don’t have a timeline for this. Any future updates on Axure Share will likely be communicated through our newsletter/blog.

If your workflow requires you to map a custom domain to a prototype, we’d love to hear your feedback so we can understand the use-case a bit better. Feel free to email us at support@axure.com!

How much does this feature cost?

Axure Cloud for Business offers licenses on a user-tiered basis. Plans start at $30/mo for up to 5 users. If you have any further questions about pricing, please email our sales team at sales@axure.com

Do we need it if we are exclusively using Axure 9 Team?

No, Axure Cloud for Business is an optional purchase and Axure RP 9 Team edition licenses will work with any version of Axure Cloud.

Anything else we are not thinking about?
