Axure Cloud Outage Updates (12/07/21) [Resolved]

#1

I wanted to start a thread to provide updates on Axure Cloud’s status. Please check back here for the latest information we have.

AWS is seeing increased error rates from its North American infrastructure:
https://status.aws.amazon.com/

As of Dec 7, 2:04 PM PST, Amazon posted:
We have mitigated the underlying issue that caused some network devices in the US-EAST-1 Region to be impaired. We are seeing improvement in availability across most AWS services. All services are now independently working through service-by-service recovery. We continue to work toward full recovery for all impacted AWS Services and API operations.

Followed by an additional update:
[3:03 PM PST] Many services have already recovered, however we are working towards full recovery across services.

Issues that the outage caused that are now resolved:

  • Sending and getting changes from team projects showed an “Unable to connect” error
  • Broken images on published prototypes on Axure Cloud
  • Prototype generation (uploading prototypes to Axure Cloud) is currently working again and prototype URLs can be viewed. (see note on broken images above)

We are working to restore full service as quickly as possible.

=======================================================
In the meantime, if you have a web server available to you, you can consider using “Publish > Generate HTML Files” and uploading the files to the server.

Alternatively, if the RP file can be shared, reviewers can download and install Axure RP to Preview prototypes locally. If they do not have a license or trial to activate Axure RP then please contact support@axure.com.

Hello Axurites,

Thank you for your patience! The Amazon Web Services issues affecting Axure Cloud today appear to have been resolved. The reported root cause of the issue was an impairment of several network devices, which impacted multiple AWS APIs in the US-EAST-1 Region, where some of Axure Cloud’s servers are located.

With the AWS issue resolved, Axure Cloud’s services have returned to working order. You should now be able to publish and view prototypes again, as well as conduct team project operations. Images in prototypes are also working again.

We understand that these outages are disruptive and we will continue to work to mitigate these in the future should similar incidents occur.

We will keep an eye out for any lingering effects. If you continue to see any trouble with your prototypes please don’t hesitate to send us an email directly to support@axure.com so that we can assist!

As of 9:53 pm EST, it is not resolved. I still am unable to publish prototypes and current published prototypes are still broken! I am still seeing flying guy typing dangling from rope!

It still doesn’t work.
