Axure Share Maintenance today (11/16/17) at 4:00-4:30 PM (PST)

#1

Hello!

Axure Share will be in read-only mode for maintenance today, November 16th, from 4:00 PM–4:30 PM PST.

While Axure Share is in read-only mode, you’ll still be able to log in and view prototypes as usual, but you won’t be able to publish or edit prototypes, check in/out team project pages, or create new Axure Share accounts. If you do need to share your prototypes during the downtime, you can generate the HTML files locally by going to “Publish > Generate HTML Files”. You can then send a zipped archive of the generated project folder to share:

https://www.axure.com/support/reference/viewing-and-sharing-html-output#sharing_and_distributing_the_html_output

We’ll be posting status updates here as we enter and exit read-only mode.

Prototype works locally but not on Axshare

Hey all,

Axure Share is currently in read-only mode. We’ll try to keep this maintenance period as short as possible.

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

We’re out of read-only mode. Please let us know if you see any issues by writing in to support@axure.com.

Happy prototyping!

Hi,

Yeah, there are few issues post-maintenance on axure share!
All of my widgets that contain repeaters and dynamic data are no longer mapping correctly once the prototype is published.
It works just fine locally though.

Please help!

It’s not on all the repeaters. I’m thinking it might be related to the write of the dynamic data being in a case other than ‘case 1’

Hi everyone,

We’ve received a few similar reports where specific Axure Share prototypes had broken interactions or layouts. Would it be possible to post your .rp files in question? If your files need to be kept private, please attach them in an email to us at support@axure.com and link to this thread URL.

In addition to inspecting your files, we’ll want to check for problems in network traffic. Please let us know which browsers that you have available on your machine and which browsers you’ve tested in. (Google Chrome will be handy for generating a HAR file.)

Thank you!

Hello! I wanted to remind everyone that if you’re seeing any problems in your prototypes, you can temporarily roll back on a per-workspace basis. Go to the workspace, choose “Configure Security”, and un-check the box under the “SSL” heading.

Meanwhile, thank you for your reports! We’re working hard to clear up these issues.

Axure handwriting url blocked because its still HTTP

All my latest prototypes are loading extremly long on Axshare (3-5 minutes for each page!). There are a lot of dynamic panels, but they have been working just fine before upgrading to SSL

Hi bibol,

Very odd–upload speeds should be OK at the moment and unaffected by SSL. Can you let us know what you find from these troubleshooting questions?

  1. Per Rachel’s post above, can you try de-selecting the checkbox for SSL? After deselecting SSL, can you check if the corresponding prototypes upload faster?

  2. Next, as a test, create a blank new RP file (“File > New”) and upload this blank project to Axure Share. Is this also slow? Or is it faster if you upload to a non-SSL workspace?

  3. We’d like to check for possible logs that might’ve been generated during these slow uploads. If you’re on Mac, head to this file path in Finder:

/Documents/Axure User Data/Axure-8-0/logs

Or if you’re using Windows, head here:

C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Temp\Axure-8-0\logs

Please zip up the contents of the logs folder and attach the ZIP in an email addressed to support@axure.com; include a link to this forum thread as well. Our support team will be able to further assist at that stage. Thank you!
