Check in fails with no explanation

I get an error when i try and check in new pages. + next to the page, but get an unhelpful error “Check in failed. Please try again…” when I do I get the report error with “Object reference not set to an instance of an object” in the additional info…

I need to sort this out ASAP please!

Sorry to hear you’re encountering this issue! As a first troubleshooting step, you can try getting a new local copy of your team project, as described in our team project troubleshooting article here.
