Just looking at comments and discussions now that we’re all working remotely.

Will the blue dots be visible to users if we test?

If yes to the above and we turn off comments, will they all disappear, or is it just that they won’t be visible?

You can turn off comments in a mockup by going to the top-right and unchecking the ‘Show comments’ box. I’m not sure if there is a URL parameter you can add to do this for remote user tests.

Alternatively, you can ‘resolve’ comments, which will hide them from the view - if you need them later, you can view resolved comments in the sidebar, or unresolve them to put the dots back on screen. No comment is ‘gone’ unless you deliberately delete it.
