Love the idea of named swatches! being able to change a colour in one place and have it affect every instance of that swatch would be fab.
I suppose another way to look at this would be something like being able to apply nested or multiple styles to an object, so in the case of two buttons, a primary and a secondary, both could share the 'button' style (corner rounding, drop shadow etc) but also have either a 'primary' or 'secondary' style (background colour, font colour etc). Granted, this moves closer to the 'lets just import CSS and support classes' approach.
This may just be me but one of the little things that annoys me the most about the colour picker is how you can open it, type in a hex value and then if you happen to move your mouse over a preset swatch before closing the dialogue you lose the value you entered and the dialogue is now closed so you have to open it again!
It would actually be nice if, when typing in a hex value or hovering over a preset, the colour on the object changed so you could get a preview of how the object would look before committing to that colour. anyone?
Anyway, can't wait to see an update to the colour picker. Keep up the good work guys and girls!
