Document.height?

Hi there
Is there any way incl. Javascript Hacks to get the height of the document?
With Windows.height it is missing the hidden scrollable part of the website.

Thanks in advance
Christian

Place a widget such that its bottom edge is the furthest thing down the page. That widget’s .bottom property is now the value you’re looking for.

Thanks nkrisc
I would need the document.height just to place the last element.
I am trying to fix it with jQuery $(document).height();
Cheers

No, you’ve got it backwards. the document height is the bottom edge of the lowest widget.

The document will be as long lowest thing on the page. So wherever you place that widget, as long as it’s below everything else, that will determine how tall the document is.

By placing that widget, you’re not only determining the document height, but also giving yourself a way to read it.
