I want to use the search field in a way that I have 3 records in the grid and I need to type keywords based on which I get records searched in the widget. E.g. if there are two records named Mike Jones and Mike Smith and I type Mike then both records should show up. How can achieve this inside a normal screenshot widget using the inbuilt search.

It sounds like you’d like to create a search function that automatically suggests search terms as you type–is this right? In this case, the following forum post might help with that!
Note that the method from the above post for creating this sort of interaction does involve the use of a “repeater” widget, one of Axure RP’s more advanced features. If you’re not yet familiar with repeaters, I’d recommend checking out these resources from our support page:
