Hide and show master components

Hi, I want to hide and show master components on a page but the case editor does not let me select it as a target. I have always done a hack where I group it or make it a dynamic panel and then select it but just wondered if there was a better way of doing it or if I’m doing something wrong that I am not able to directly select a master as a target to show or hide in the case editor.

This issue is both in axure 8 and 9.

No, you are correct–you can’t target Masters directly. Grouping or creating a dynamic panel is just what you have to do with Masters if they need to be affected.
