Is this a bug? Adding up padding and lineheights to automatically adjusted box height

Dear Axure,

Experimenting with different padding, font seizes and lineHeights gives unexpected results:

I found out that Font seize does not influence the box height, but padding and line heights do.

My experiment (padding is eaqual for all sides)

here you can see:
@*: when going from 2 to 3 lines with a lineHeight of 21px, the box unexpectedly grows with only 20px (adding a 4th line adds up an expected 21px again)
@**: when going from 1 to 2 lines with a lineHeight of 22px, the box unexpectedly grows with even 23px (adding a 3th line adds up an expected 22px again)

@***: when going from 3 to 4 lines with a lineHeight of 22px, the box unexpectedly grows with even 23px

Can you please let me know what the explanation for this is (and how I better can predict box heights)?

Hi Igor,

I tested the errant values (marked in red) on my end but the resulting heights look correct. Here’s a sample file:

Are you seeing incorrect widget heights in my file as well? Please attach a copy of your sample RP and I can test the setup and reported heights.

Also, do you recall whether your display settings, DPI settings, or the like had been changed from their default configurations? Let me know the RP 8 build that you’re running as well (e.g. 3372).
