I’m creating a prototype which I would like to have work with Android’s Talk Back (accessibility feature) turned on. However, TalkBack doesn’t recognise and read out button labels / tooltips.
I know the Axure HTML code is rough and doesn’t comply with best practice but was hoping that at minimum it would allow Screen readers to read out button tooltips.

You’re correct in that the HTML code generated by Axure RP is not production-ready. However we can definitely see how this may not offer the best support for screen readers, and I’ve gone ahead and submitted a feature request for button labels and tooltips to be able to be read by screen readers. Hopefully we’ll be able to evaluate some other ways we might be able to improve the overall accessibility of Axure RP prototypes as well!
