Visibility of Folders/Widgets not appearing in Outline Pane

I’m trying to hide/show items temporarily in the ‘outline’ pane, but occasionally the toggle button to hide/show folders/widgets/masters, does not show up:

The folders are in the same hierarchy, albiet with different contained elements (masters, widgets, etc), but that shouldn’t stop me from hiding the folder.

Hi Chris!

Does the behavior persist when closing and reopening the file? Is the issue specific to one file, or all? If the former, could you post the .rp file you’re working on that’s exhibiting this behavior?
