where is the value for window scrolled condition in axure 10?

Hi!

Believe it or not, you are looking for “text value” here, even though scroll value is numeric. (Choose “Text value” and type in [[Window.scrollY]] in the “fx” dialog.)

And, sure: text comparisons are common, and “value” probably tests poorly in that case, so calling it “text value” makes that scenario easy to find.

But if you’re hoping to query the window’s scroll value, or the current date, or the distance between two widgets, would you think to choose “text value” in the hopes that, once you arrived there, you would find a button that allows you to enter expressions?

Maybe it would be best to break this into two separate options.

  • “Text value” which lets you enter text but does NOT offer the “fx” dialog
  • “Custom” or “Expression” which throws the user directly into the “fx” dialog.
