I was surprised when I had to install an extension in Chrome the other week in order to view prototypes from a file. I swear I didn’t need this before, but there are posts regarding the Chrome Axure extension going back several years. I hate having my customers have to install an extension in order to view my prototypes. Any chance this could be unnecessary down the road?

Hi, they do NOT need it at all if using axshare. Just when you viewing prototype on local

Just wanted to confirm that the Chrome extension is only required for locally generated prototypes, due to Chrome security settings. Previewing a project or viewing it on Axure Share or your own web server will not require the extension. @GregorOR do you have a web server that might be available to you for internal use for prototype sharing?
