Better support for CSS?

We’re getting a push from Corporate Branding and Design, to have every dev department move to FIGMA.
The company I work for is #45 on Fortune 500 with over 400,000 employees.
Even though that doesn’t mean it represents a lot of potential users, it’s still something to consider when it comes to the survival of this great tool that Axure is.
Nevertheless, I keep waiting for better support for CSS, like size units (%, REM, EM, etc), positioning, floating, etc.
The fact we have to create a whole new version for each breakpoint, instead of having a more adaptive and liquid behavior when resizing a browser, is very backward and counterintuitive. We are after all designing/prototyping for the web, and even though its not about providing usable html+css for our devs, it should at least come closer to actual front-end web design. Figma has a lot of limitations as well, but it is a lot closer in that aspect.
Is there ANYTHING in the horizon even considering this type of evolution for Axure from the Dev team?
I really don’t want to move to FIGMA, but as a design team Supervisor I have to go and take my team in the most practical direction in the end. Do I stop resisting the push because this will never change?
What do Axure Devs have to say about this?

Thanks.
