Dynamic Panel Confusion (How to edit below Dynamic Panel layer?)

Hi! I am new to Axure and I am just wondering how I can edit the text widget inside my Dynamic panel?
Here’s what happened.

  1. After adding a dynamic panel to a box of text, I proceed to create 3 different states (the page where the dynamic panel is originally added is considered as 1 of the 3 states)

  2. After copy and pasting all the states to follow the format of the initial state, I created a droplist so that each item in the droplist corresponds to one state.

  3. I have successfully linked the droplist items to each state. However, there is an additional layer of State 1 (the first state with the dynamic panel on it) below State 2 and 3. So there is an overlap of words!

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? It would be much appreciated!

Also, the text box under the Dynamic panel seem to be fixed and I can’t edit it. I’m sure there’s a way I can edit under the Dynamic panel?

2 questions above!

I love using Axure as I am a new UX student but sometimes such problems are really annoying! Please help!

Can you share your file? Hard to diagnose what we can’t see.

But I can guess:
Did you make all your states on the same dynamic panel? Sounds like you might have created and stacked multiple panels.

So either consolidate your states into one panel or add a background to your panel states so they’re not transparent to whatever is below them.

Hi!

Thank you for your response.

I have somewhat figured it out - I realized I had an additional redundant layer under the main dynamic panel page which is also one of the three states I have. I’m not sure if you can visualize that haha.

I am still figuring out how to share my file across actually (Am very new to this!). Do you mind sharing me how to do it and can non-Axure users view it?

Thanks!
