Edit default text bounding box margins for accurate pixel spacing

I am wondering if there is a way to force the PX spacing helpers to be flushed with an edited text height in relationship to an element that contains it on all sides.

See in the attached figure, on the top and bottom portions the guides are not flush, as they are with the left and right sides.


Yes, you can adjust the padding for most widgets in the STYLE panel. Select the widget, then look for the PADDING section at the bottom. I recommend entering text directly on your widget rather than separate text widget in front of a container widget. In your example, the blue widget with rounded corners would have a text style of all caps, white font color, and text value of “INFO BLUE” rather than a separate widget just for “INFO BLUE”.
