Fill: ‘None’ is unavailable in 9, was available in 8
Same as you set 0 transparency, but you right I was missing that too
If you’re in the color picker view (equivalent to the only color selection method in earlier versions) there’s a button for selecting no fill. I’m personally usually in this mode.
