I have a requirement to show up a box and change the background color with animation till it closes in certain interval times.
The simplest (if not the most elegant) solution would be to use a dynamic panel and use the slide or fade transitions to fake the animation. Put a rectangle shape in each state of the panel with the gradient colors you want, when the panel slides/fades, it should have an effect similar to what you want.
Unfortunately, Axure 8 doesn’t have the option to set what type of timing transition you want, it’s stuck at “swing” so the animation stops for a split second before starting again.
