Axure won’t launch on Windows 7 after January .NET Update

#1

Hi guys!

Recently (January 9th) there was a Windows update with some security fixes that got rolled out, and this included a .NET Framework update. We’ve gotten a few reports that machines running Windows 7 are not able to launch Axure RP after installing this update. If you happen to be using a Windows 7 machine and find that Axure RP isn’t launching after installing that update, then uninstalling that most recent .NET update should do the trick and allow you to launch again.

Hopefully that helps! As always feel free to email support@axure.com with any questions.

Hi all,

It looks like as of a couple of days ago, Microsoft has released a new Windows update that should resolve the issues with .NET 4.7.1 on Windows 7 machines. If you were running into the Axure RP launch issue on Windows 7 and haven’t yet tried the new update, then please give that a go and let us know whether you continue to see issues. Thanks!
