I have added a few notes on a hidden object which becomes visible when certain conditions are met. It also is getting pushed down as DP show themselves. The issue is the note numbers are not hidden and we can see orphaned 1,2,3 etc in yellow note boxes moving around in the local preview and published site on axshare. When the object becomes visible - it makes sense but till that moment it’s pure distraction.

This is a known issue we have on file where the note icons attached to a hidden widget still show in the browser output, and I’ve added this post to that report. In the meantime, you can hide the footnotes in the HTML by navigating to “Publish > Generate HTML Files > Notes” and de-selecting the “Include widget notes footnotes” checkbox.

Thank you Jane. Good to know that this is on your list. De-selecting means the notes are hidden from the object but available on notes panel in the browser. Kind of works for me (for now).

Simply uncheck the marked widget note during publish locally
it will not visible further.
