In Axure RP 11 the ⌘\ "Publish to axure cloud" keyboard shortcut conflicts with a shortcut in 1Password. Here's how to fix

In RP11 (version 11.0.0.4122), the keyboard shortcut for “Publish to Axure Cloud” is CMD + Backwards slash: ⌘\

Note, in prior RP versions, this shortcut was performed by pressing CMD + Forward slash: ⌘/

The 1Password app also has a ⌘\ shortcut (for searching your password vault) which when enabled (it’s enabled by default) takes precedence as a keyboard shortcut over other installed apps.

This means that if you press ⌘\ while in Axure RP11, you’ll get a 1Password search prompt instead of the Axure dialog to publish to Axure Cloud.

This is easy to remedy.

  1. Open 1Password on your Mac.
  2. Navigate via the menu bar: 1Password > Settings > General
  3. Scroll down to the “Keyboard Shortcuts” section, and remove (or change) the shortcut value for “Autofill”

CMD + Backwards slash ⌘: “Publish to Axure Cloud” will now work in Axure RP11.
