Page background color change is ineffective

I cannot get the page background color to change when previewing or publishing. I see the selected color in Axure, say white (#FFFFFF) but not when viewing the pages in the browser, the page background is light grey, while widgets show the specified background colors.

When I inspect the page in the browser, I do see the page background set to #F6F6F6.

Any ideas as what may be the problem? Axure 9 bug? Do I need to overwrite it in CSS?

OK, I found the issue: I was referencing a CSS to map some fonts, which was setting the body background color (it’s not a clean/fonts-only CSS). Sorry about the churn.
