Whenever I want to measure a distance of a widget to other widgets I need to press and hold the ALT key on Windows PC and hover over a widget I want to measure the distance to. Unfortunately this also triggers the ALT menu acceleration process. For those who don’t know, pressing ALT + F for example will allow you to open the File menu in Axure.
This ALT menu acceleration is interfering with the distance guide feature in Axure. Because after I measured the distance I may want to nudge a widget into a position, but as soon as I will press an arrow key, an ALT menu will show on the top. I could press ALT again to kind of disable that menu acceleration, but I don’t always remember and it’s kinda frustrating anyway.
The only solution I found was to install an AutoHotkey script. Here’s a link
