Relentless "Authentication Required" popup

#1

Has anybody else had a problem with a popup constantly appearing saying "“Authentication Required”?
Realm: Proxy Server http://127.0.0.1 (etc), which indicates the local machine. Keeps asking for a Username and Password. On a Mac running Mojave 10.14.6.

Yes! It’s very annoying. And sometimes, it keeps asking me to submit error report.

I have the same problem with Axure 10 beta on Mac running Catalina 10.15.7. Is there a working solution available?

same problem. Anybody solved it?

I have the very same issue, Axure asks for authentication to localhost port 9000 (127.0.0.1:9000) sometimes when my user wants to get access to local storage. I got this on all our Macs, but for most of the users when they cancel this pop-up for the very first time, they never get that window again.
Unfortunately, if users authenticate that for the first time, that user needs to deal with that forever. We have this issue on Catalina and Big Sur both and it becomes frustrating for some of my users.

If you are on a Mac: Go to your “System Preferences/Settings” and search for “Proxies” and in the dialog that appears, “Turn off” the “Automatic proxy configuration” setting and this should prevent the dialog from appearing again. This worked for me!
