Style setting limitations... the Drop list

My client needs a specific design from their style guide and the drop lists have to use a dark background with light text… I fear the drop list style limitation from the supplied widget library is probably just the first of these I will run into.

So I attempted to do as suggested in another thread and considered building from other widgets such as the List Box, but the list box keeps the scroll bar. DOH!
Maybe I should rethink using Axure?

Hi Andy!

I wanted to mention that droplist and list box widgets are both form widgets in Axure RP, and they have some similar styling limitations. However! If you wanted to create a more customized droplist, you could use shape widgets instead, as described in our custom droplist tutorial.
