why cant paste screenshots from the browser

version: axure rp11
browser: chrome / safari
os : mac

my steps:
1、i browser the web page in browser, then take a screenshot of the page
2、switch to axure and paste(ctrl+v) the screenshot, the result is nothing, no hint, no error report

if take screenshot from office app, its successful

thanks， but this didnt solve my problem
with axure 8 or 9 , i can easily paste pictures from clipboard by press ctrl + v， but fails with axure 11

I’ve run into this too! For some reason, certain browsers don’t play nice with the clipboard and Axure. If a direct paste fails, I usually just use the ‘Snipping Tool’ (Win) or ‘Cmd+Shift+4’ (Mac) and paste that - it seems to bypass whatever formatting issue the browser is adding.

That is a frustrating change in behavior between versions. Since it works from Office apps but not the browser, it might be related to how the browser handles image data formats in the clipboard. As a temporary workaround, you could try right-clicking the image and choosing ‘Copy Image’ specifically, or saving the file locally before importing, while waiting for a maintenance update.
