In Axure RP 8 I could copy the content of a checked-in page and then paste it to my current WIP page. Now I can only copy a content from a checked-out page, which is kinda ridiculous. I wouldn’t need to check-out that page, and then I have to do it just because I need to copy some component. Doesn’t make any sense…
Any way to copy components without checking-out the page?
In would like to add that it would be REALLY helpful if the Checked-In pages were just read-only, but able to be navigated/copied as well as the ability to view style details (like color, line weight, etc.) The current implementation makes it really hard to copy anything meaningful from a checked in page, and when I am able to copy it, I seem only to be able to paste anything about half of the time.
Yes, “copy function of checked-in pages” is really neccessary!
A strange behaviour of V8 could also be removed:
Most widget-notes of checked-in pages are greyed and if you copy the text, the pasted text is grey as well.
