Issues with facet filter [what am I doing wrong?]

Hello everyone,

I am coming for help because for the life of me I cant understand what I’m doing wrong. See attached file.

Basically, I copied everything from the tutorial on facet filters:

The problem that I’m having is when I preview my project my checkboxes show up but my repeater does not and when I click the checkboxes nothing happens. I followed the instructions and I can’t figure out whats wrong.

Please help.

Hi!

Everything looks good except for one step. You need to set up local variables to get the selected states of the checkboxes:

I knew there must’ve been something ‘hidden’ that I wasn’t doing. Very informative! Thank you for pointing that out to me, I went back and tried it and it worked perfectly! You have just lessened my headache entirely!

Also, thanks for the post. Much to learn.
