Unable to set a component as the target of a Move operation

Hi there,

I’m wanting to move a component instance in an interaction, but the target selector isn’t letting me select the component:

Instead, I’m having to select a widget that’s inside the component. Why can’t I just select the component itself?

Hi @Mal, unfortunately, currently, you cannot target a component in the “Move” action. I’ve submitted a feature request for you so our product team can further review it.

As a workaround, if you place the content of your component into a group inside of the component, then you can target this group in the “Move” action.
